Rooted Youth is a pioneering youth-led movement committed to building safe spaces for young people from minoritised communities, amplifying their voices and ensuring their experiences, needs, and aspirations are heard – and acted upon.
Our Launch
On Thursday 30 July 2026, we hosted Rooted Youth’s official Launch at London City Hall, bringing together young people, youth professionals, and policymakers to hear the findings from our youth survey and celebrate the start of our journey.

We provide support, opportunities and platforms for young people to thrive
We work with our peers aged 16 – 28 from underrepresented communities in London and across the UK. We provide a space for young people to CONNECT, as we know from our own experience how hard it is to feel you belong. Through events, workshops, group coaching (action learning), activities and learning, we want to build a COMMUNITY of resilient, aspiring, and confident young people. We are a non-profit organisation, with a focus on empowering communities to embrace different cultures, faiths and lived experiences.
We connect young people with the support, opportunities, and representation they deserve. Through research and youth-led programmes, we want to have direct engagement with policymakers to turn lived experience into evidence and evidence into change.
